Well- that's it for Liberty Middle School. For now.

But if any of my students out there are reading this then you are going to hate me.
You know why? Because I have a homework assignment.
Yup. I forgot in the last week of school to assign it- so you better listen up:
This summer you HAVE TO drag your parents down to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. There are some AMAZING shows coming up. And the one that you HAVE TO SEE is the Chuck Close: People Who Matter Me. And you know what- all you Liberty Teachers- you better go see it too. I'll be checking in with you!
The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a little gem in our fair town and this is a HUGE show. This is one of the most well known current artists and they are having a retrospective! So do it!
This is a pass/fail assignment. So just go ahead and get the grade :)

ReplyDeleteHurray to both of you for going! It's going to be amazing! Later in the fall there is going to be a Sally Mann show. She is a photographer who lives here in VA- and also world renowned! Go to both shows! And take pictures for me!!!!!!!!!!!!
